Our church’s bible study program which is held in different locations mainly in member’s houses counts its establishment as long as the existence of the church.
When we look back through these many years which we could not undermine to be small in number we see that these house bible studies have been fruitful in producing many ministers and also have been the means of growing in faith for many.
Actually we can say we have used it as an institution for learning. Even now we have many who are following up (taking part in) this house bible study.
To enhance this effort and to print in the minds of the members the church holds once in a year “a day of Bible study” with a motto or directive; a word which is written to the Colossians 316 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly”
and on that day members who have shown so much effort for example those who come to the bible study continuously and also study the material beforehand will be given a gift to reward their endeavor.
They will be asked to say some words how they have benefited from the bible study.
This will encourage those who have not joined the bible study to come forward and ask willingly to be enlisted in one of the bible studies.
The Bible study places are located in members houses who willingly have given their keys for this sacred purpose; the locations have been selected depending on the convenience of the people who come to study.
Also the church has put in to consideration the hours and days of studies according to the availability of those who come to the study places.
The studies are held on Tuesday and Saturday evening from 7pm to 9pm (19hr-21hr), Sunday morning 8am to 10 am.
